I'm sorry if this has been posted before. 
So lets see, I love Civ3, it has a great deal of depth to it, and does a great job of adding on to Civ2, but the reason I barley play it as much as I play Civ2 is because it is so damn slow! After getting used to Civ2, every single turn in Civ3 seems tediously long. I love how in Civ2 you can do the first 20 turns in a matter of 30 seconds, just because of the low processor and graphical requirements, it even runs in a window, so you can easily do other stuff while playing the game. So what I was hoping for is if maybe someone made or is making a Civ3 mod for Civ2, one that would incorporate all the depth and gameplay of Civ3 with the speed and comfort of Civ2.
So if it has been made, will anyone please point me to it? And if it wasn't, will any mod maker consider making it?
