Colony won't spawn?

Hello. Not sure if anyone else has had this problem - but when I try to spin off a new colony and I get to its screen, "Grant independence to ....."... I clicked it and nothing seems to happen. Not sure why it is happening :/ Anyone ran into this problem?

Do you have 18 civ in the game??? I do and I can't spawn colonies too...

Yeah, I play 18 civs. I haven't tried with any fewer, so I guess it's a sort of bug. Nonetheless, I only tried spawning colonies after some civs were eliminated...

Heh, I just posted a thread of the same 'complaint'. Maybe they should be merged.

Aye... I guess I'll play with 16 or 17 AI's next time so that I am able to grant independence.
