Alright, i bought a brand new computer back in september. I used to have Janes Fighters Anthalogy. It was agreat game, about 8 Air Campaigns, like u can fly campaigns in the Vietnam war, it had over 100 planes u could fly, or fly against.
But i lost the CD, and the graphics on that game were old. Now i'm looking for a great combat flight simulator for my new PC.
I NEED SUGGESTIONS! :goodjob:

If you want a Fighters Anthology style game, I also recommend USAF...still installed and I play it quite a bit...fun.

If you want ultra hard core, go with Janes FA-18 or Falcon4 from Microprose....but both can be scaled back to be less hardcore.

For WW2 there is IL2, EAW, and the Combat Flight Sim series from Microsoft.

For helicopters...try Commanche/Hoakum

All the above are cheap as dirt now.

Is USAF pretty new?
I do plan on getting the combat flight simulator games :)

What happend to Falcon? When I was younger, that was the flight simulator, and it was pretty hard core. Have they slipped?

i know Janes Fighter Anthalogy was great. Flying an F-4 Phantom over vietnam bombing Hanoi :goodjob:

USAF is actually a pretty 'old' game of like 4-5 years (i think) but is one of the best flight games of all time.
