For anyone who wants to use them I have compressed the CCTP Art files and the Civ V terrain files.
This does not impact the way the graphics look, the smaller file size just helps them load faster. It also helps with loading time a little.
The smaller terrain files help the map textures to load quicker and therefore less grey tiles, which help performance, at least on my computers.

Instructions are in file, as always make backups first in case you want/need to re install original ( of course you could always have steam verify for terrain files).
