-------Concept: Battle in Depth---------
Principle:
1) Against the stronger armies; be not afraid to retreat! And then, you shall hit when the time comes...
2) Against the stronger enemies; be not doubtful to submit your cities! And then, you shall take them bach when the time comes...
Withdrawal:
1) You should retreat your armies by spreading them out on the terrain, widening the front.
2) You should retreat to the line which you wish your enemy come.
3) You should wait until the enemies dissolve their forces.
4) Then, you should concentrate your armies stealthily in front of the enemy's weak front.
Recovery:
1) Do not stay motionless: Move as swift as the wind, retreat as quick as the lightning.
2) Do not familiarize your assault: Change your hit-point, insist on your strategy.
3) If you are sure about the defeat, act rationally and retreat in order to attack more powerful; if you are sure about the victory, act rationally and attack in order to get the enemy down in the best time: NOW!

Post-Script:
These ten principles are composed by myself as a Civfan. However, "Battle in the Depth Concept" is a military strategy that is theorized and practiced by the founder of Turkish Republic, Mustafa Kemal Ataturk. Battle of Sakarya(1921) is the first universally known battle that is based on this concept. Now, many national war academies in the world teach that concept as a lecture. Nevertheless, my principles are just a fictional adaptation for Civfans. Hopefully, I'll try to adapt many more famous war strategies for Civfans, e.g: Sun Tzu's Art of War. In addition to this, you could apply them more accurately in the game Operational Art of War I-II which offers a great deal for battle-simulation fans.
