COTM 28 was an archipelago map; playing as england on emperor level, the player was up against all the other seafaring civilizations.
There weren't very many entries, and with the poor starting location, this coulbe be indicative of the difficulty level and map type, or perhaps our negligence in providing timely results.
For the first time in many months, first place when to a diplomatic victory, by Wotan. Second place was also not a directly-warmongering victory, with klarius choosing a cultural victory (after reducing the competition to a single civ with a few cities!). Chamnix, after not knowing the results of COTM 27, decided to make doubley-sure of his eptathlon, by grabbing the fastest conquest for the second month in a row!
u]Summary of Medal Winners[/u]:
Wotan: 1435 AD Diplomatic Victory, 8,556 points.
klarius: 1810 AD Cultural 100k Victory, 8,230 points.
Chamnix: 1490 AD Conquest Victory, 7,717 points.
