Crash when Intercept

Hi all,

I encountered a bad experience in PTW with Patch 1.21f - when I bomb a city, my bomber was being intercepted by a fighter, the stupid game crashed. I raised this a number of times to the Infogrames and just like talking to the blackhole. You should know this is fu?king*2 annoying when you played the game for a number of hours/days and ... no way to continue ... since it crashes when I resumed the game.

I read the README of Patch 1.27f, there is no indication that such stupid "feature" is being fixed or not. Any goodies have such idea?

That has never happaned to me with 1.21... It may just be your computer. I suggest reinstal PTW.

I had the same exact problem. I haven't run up against it with the new patch.

it would only happen to me when I had bombers on auto bomb. after a couple of crashes I stopped using the auto bomb button

Exactly what used to happen to me. I don't use auto-bomb anymore for the fear of a crash.

I too had the crash on bomber intercept problem with 1.21. Have not had it in a recently completed 1.27 game.

I'm not sure whether it was with auto bomb or any bomb run that was intercepted, but I know that I did use auto bomb some in my 1.27 game (though I'm not sure whether an auto bomb run was intercepted or not.

I had that problem when testing a scenario, many different scenarios. I had the enemy planes on a Air Field, my planes were in a city. I click bomb the Infantry on the Air Field and the entire Enemy Civilization disapperes. I am Automaticly the Winner. on 1.27f PTW

It was NOTHING I did, simple change, Stealth Fighter Defence of 6, thats it

I alway had crash with air combat in PTW 1.21f=> With PTW1.27f, I never see it=> Update to PTW1.27f=> well.

With naval combat, I meet some bug in autobomband. How do fix it?

Same thing happened to me. Three games went fine and then the fourth game crashed when my Bomber was intercepted auto-bombing a city. Reloaded and the same thing happened when I manually bombed. Reloaded and took the city with ground troops, about thirty minutes later another intercepted bomber crashed the game.

I have the patch.

I don't think this will be fixed since it appears to be a random error.

Guess I'll have to quit this game and start all over!

Looks like common problem. Same happends in my game, so I play without using Bombers at all. I ask several times here how to fix it, but no answer.
Btw mine PTW is both in Germany but compatible with US version of my Vanila GOTY, if it got something to do with that.
Othervice my PtW act normaly.
