This thread is just a general discussion on D&D based mods. maybe a few mods will come of it maybe not. I am currently working on one and I noticed several posts from others refering to something like what I'm making. I have some unit requests in my sig as well. If anyone was interested.

I might discuss my plans on my mod, but not till after Conquests is released. If anyone is interested in the idea of D&D mods then please post. If not. Then why did you click on this thread?.

My own prefered world is Mystara. I have plenty of resources on it and many I designed myself. What worlds are you guys interested in playing a mod?

This is off topic but I am going to make a Wheel of Time mod after I finish the mod and maps for Mystara. :cooool:

I'm not familiar with D&D but once I get some kind of animator I'm doing some Zelda units, I could easily modify these a bit to fit in with D&D. I know you like the aerial fantasy units like the Pegasus so you could use them.

I could definitely use the Pegasus and a Pegasus Rider of some sort.
I also saw someone might do a dragon rider which I would love to have. The only thing I'm want that I might not get is my Gnoll units.
Roc units would be cool too. Only Kinboat has responded to any of my pm's, but I know I didn't pm everybody. Any unit makers out there looking for a challenge CHECK OUT MY SIG. :help:
Zelda units could be cool. They could be integrated in somehow.

Hey Kindred I have a question for Chicago fans in my NFL thread. Any chance you could shed some light on the matter. It was my last post or second to last post.

I liked the original Mystara world (mostly because it's the first world I played in :) ) Although I got into the Dragonlance world (through reading the novels) And the Greyhawk world is pretty nice too :) I haven't played in any of them in ages though. When I imagine a D&D mod I think of a generic fantasy setup similar to the Fantasy Empires mod... maybe with more monsters though. And then you could provide a map of each of the major worlds.

Well, I'm not actually a Chicago fan (I actually live in Rockford, IL. I only say Chicago, cuz no-one really knows where Rockford is.) I"m a Vikings fan (born and raised). Which also explains my hatred for the Packers.

I might be a trendy, but Forgotten Realms would be the most interesting. It's by far the most extensively detailed world in D&D. Dark Sun might also be cool. Just make different desert tiles with different values.

The Vikes suck bleep! So do the Bears, although a more offensive bleep! True blashphemy is having a pizza less than an inch tall! Stop picking on Chicagoans, or Illinois-ians, and pick on the New Yorkers. Pizza only came across my mind because I'm hungry, I could say more about Chicago's superiority to every city on the planet but, I'm hungry.

I would say Forgotten Realms is as much expansive as Mystara/Hollow World/Savage Coast which is all the same planet. I have a lot of stuff on Forgotten Realms, but it reminds me to much of this world. Greyhawk is pretty cool too. Darksun would be possible to make, but aside from being a giant desert, I don't know much about it. I know a little of Dragonlance, but not enough for a mod. Anyone else out here planning to make a mod?
