I'm having some issues with getting Civ4 to work on my PC. I'll deal with those through other posts. In part of my looking around I found that Gamespot posted a hotfix. I downloaded it but it doesn't find a valid Civ4 installation... apparently.
Looking more carefully it seems that this may not apply to the CD/DVD version of the game, which is probably why it doesn't work... but I'd be interested in hearing if it works for anyone else or if anyone else can shed light on what this hotfix actually applies to?
