Can someone please help me? I'm not very good with computers, but I just found a new problem with my Warlords that I have never seen before.
As I start up my game all the opening pages are clear and readable and all the movies work just fine. But when I actually get to my map it is all dark. I can see my scout, worker and city and all the options around the screen are visible and look normal, it's just the map itself that stays dark no matter where I move or what I do. The cursor also keeps flickering.
I had had trouble getting direct x to install last year when I first set up my game but I eventually got everything working right and played happily until a separate issue (a virus) knocked out my laptop.
It took a year but I just got my computer up and running and now when I reinstalled everything this started. The guy who got my drivers working was impressed at what a great video driver I have, so I'd be surprised if that is my problem.
