Which picture do you mean?
1) The one at the construct unit que
2) The one that appear when the shield is accumulating
3) The one that appear in the game when the unit is completed
4) The icon in the civilopedia
Thats about all I can think of for a unit
1) The picture that is used in the construct que is from the file units_32.pcx. If you want to make an icon for the Attack Chopper, you will need to use a file such as Photoshop (which are bundled with lots of scanner nowadays) or Paintbrush (the one that comes with windows). Open up the units_32.pcx file and add some blank link by copy the last line and paste in at the bottom of the file. The last 8 icons in the file are era icons for Leader, Army, Settler & worker. These 8 icons must always be the last 8. So, say you have already added Coracle and Attack Chopper, you just need to copy the 8 icons and move them 2 step from their original position. After doing that you will get 2 blank box before the last 8 icons. This is where your two new icon going to sits. Just copy the galley icon and paste it in the first box for Coracle and copy the Chopper icon from the pcx file attached in the zip file (use the small one or reduce the big one to 32 x 32 before you copy it). After you paste the pic into the second box the picture will look weird due to the palette setting of the both files are diff. You just need to change some of the color by yourself. This will not affect the actual graphic after the unit is completed, just the icon in the construct que.
2) & 3) This two uses the icon in the AttackChopperDefault.flc. So as long as you have make the necessary directory/folder and copied all the flc files into the folder it should be fine.
4) Civilopedia icons uses the two pcx files in the zip file. If you follow the instructions on how to make a Coracle to create a civilopedia then you should be fine. You just need to point the two pcx files to the Civilopedia entry using the PediaIcon.txt file which sits in the same folder as the Civilopedia.txt file.
I will be around the forum for quite a bit (I am going to wait and see if anyone else complain about the patch before I install it for the second time as downloading a 7+MB file for twice with a 56k modem is not a fun thing to do

). So if you still have any more question just post them here again. I will check this post pretty often.
