Diplomatic Parchment Award

The old GOTM Hall of Fame says the diplomatic award goes to the "highest score by diplomacy". Can someone clarify what this means with respect to the current scoring system?

With the current scoring system I think we are adding awards for the top Jason score for each victory condition. There probably would be a lot of duplication in awards if we keep the fastest finish ones, so we may be taking out the fastest finish awards altogether.

Fastest finish, milked games, and combinations thereof would all still have shots at the award for that victory condition and a medal if we go that way.

Aeson, with all due respect I disagree about that. I think you should continue to give awards for fastest finish. Some folks could care less about score you know. Eliminating an award they could compete for is a negative incentive for people to play.

Finish date is a score too. It's just that you win when it's lowest.
