For those with limited bandwith, I can assure you that the #1 video is the most awesome. The video (from a camera mounted on one of the side boosters) goes all the way from launch in Cape Canaveral to the SRB splashdown somewhere in the Atlantic.
The long shadow you can see from this perspective is the exhaust, a spire of water vapor so dense that the Shuttle is not allowed to launch on days with risk of lightning because the the plume is actually conducive.
For those more interested in how the Shuttle looks from the falling-away booster, the #5 video has that perspective (it's much shorter, however, as it doesn't include launch or splashdown).
Say what you like about teh Sh!ttle program (oops, typo there) but for videos like this I will gladly pay 55 million a flight.
