Espyonage missions' cost

how can I change the diplomatic&espyonage missions' cost?
I couldn't find it in the "diplomatic and spies" window in the rules editor.
Plz help.

Its under the general settings in the editor I believe. But someone should verify this.

but a few months ago I WAS able to change the missions' cost. I'm 100% sure it can be done. just forgot how...

Lower the numbers - a lot.

I only find there the description, civilopedia entry file and spy/diplomat boxes. are u sure it's there?

firaxis went over-board with the espionage in civ3.

In civ2 diplos/spies broke the game if the human player chose to abuse them.

In civ3 out of the box you will rarely if ever use espionage for anything (I sometimes investigate city) as it isn't cost effective...nor affordable!!!


I think Firaxis are aware of the problem...hmm?

the point is that I'm 100% sure I WAS able to change these cost modifiers and even play with them, but now, after having uninstalled and installed the game, I can't find it.
can u plz tell me if u can edit it (plz try and tell me--it's important).

is that I enter the "diplomats&spies" screen in the editor, but I see NO cost changes. all I see is the "rename", "civilopedia entry", "description" and "mission performed by (diplomat/spy)" options.
can u plz check and tell me if U see a cost editing option?

It's important, cause I remember that a few months ago I WAS able to change the costs! so plz help!
