Exodus Gate Bug!!!

I went to war with Kavitha because she had started building exodus gate, and i didn't want her to win. I captured her city and the territory surrounding the gate but it still completed somehow, and it started popping out earthlings. By this point I had already started building my own exodus gate, and I went through a long phase where i was capturing their settlers popping out of their gate (in my territory) before my own gate finished. but when my gate finished, no settlers came through. I think there's a bug preventing someone from owning two exodus gates at the same time. Either this needs to be fixed, OR, even better, if you capture a city building exodus gate, it should destroy their gate. This bug totally ruined the end of the game for me!!!!

Were you manually clicking on the 'spawn colonist' button on your own gate? If not, try doing that.

This is one of the things the game does very poorly at communicating. You only get humans when you press the button.

Yeah, I wish it treated the gates as "units" and made sure you zoomed to them each turn and skipped using them or used them.

oh wow, thanks... I didn't see the little 'spawn colonist' button... dang, i just lost to someone else who built emancipation gate. Oh well... thanks for the clue on that and yes, I wish they would make it more evident what you have to do.
