The 1.08 patch solved nothing! I could not be happier. To celebrate this achievement I ran naked through a cage of angry cats then doused myself in vinegar.
I know it was removed because of a small bug that was overlooked, but I'm willing to bet, and hoping, that that wasn't the memory leak and other inexcusable performance issues. Since overlooking that bug would be like overlooking an elephant in your kitchen. Although this company seems to enjoy overlooking entire zoos.
