Fastest (non-domination) victory?

To be clear I did not use that for the T162 game. However I did like stated somewhere for the T145 one that I would use the whole panoply of possibility. However I never declared war after trading so maybe it balances out :p

I fully understand the concern and I'm of the opinion that this should be fixed. My point is only to illustrate all problems the game currently have and that kind of exploits are part of it.

Won't try again managing 21 cities and 60 trade routes is too much of a chore

"Whole panoply of tactics?" Does that include, for every time you renew a trade route, changing all citizens of one of the cities to "unemployed" or working useless tiles, renew the route, and then putting all citizens back to work? Just to maximise trade route yield by maximising the difference in base yield?

For 60 trade routes? (Please say no...)

Game balance is OK, faster game is good for multiplayer. For improving AI, easy way is to just script the AI to copy all the build orders on this forum. Apollo difficulty AI Slavic Battlesuit rush anyone?

And I watched your video on the African Union game. Your decisions were eye-openers, although I do not agree with all the choices 100%.

Are you routinely getting sub 170 wins across all map types or just on maps with favorable terrain, AI placement, and AI behavior?

I haven't played games on truly random settings since getting faster speeds. I'd say that some settings and maps can definetely slow me down. Also transcendence is just faster than the other 2 if you have enough cities (otherwise pick supremacy).

Well exploits that I know of :p

Aren't route yields dynamically calculated ? If not and they are fixed on creation... oh boy it's worth than I thought

Although no I wouldn't have done that for 60 routes.

My african game was like my 3rd game so far from perfect I guess. I've still to learn in this game either way. But I'll wait a patch or two before pushing it (I don't think gamebalance is OK no :/).

Trade routes are recalculated dynamically, so there is no benefit to that. Even merely managing 60 trade routes is a big chore.

I personally stopped playing for the time being. While the game so strongly incentivizes wide gameplay, it's just too much of a chore to manage trade routes. Another big chore is managing workers since you can't even just build currently unnecessary improvements that you will need later due to maintenance.

yeah the favor abuse thing is definitely game breaking. Essentially you can buy up two colonists at a time and while they're setting up, you save up for Trade Depot + 2 Trade Vessels (iirc 890 energy on Standard), meanwhile you work up your titanium based city to get the cogs up. Rinse and repeat

Did you use any gpt exploits or anything similar?

What do u mean, when u tell "exploits"?

The main reason for the such fast win was my excel file with tables, where i count best choices for my TR. And, aslo, i control not only internal TR, also i hard control external TR, so they always was a minimal of +10 science income. If u dont control external TR, sometimes after building science buildings or academyes u got the fact that ur science trade with AI drops from +10 to +3 in a 1 turn.

tnx to this thread, the science is the most important thing in this game.

gpt exploits, agent exploits, and whatever else there is.

So you won in 132 turns on standard/standard/apollo by just micromanaging trade routes? Without exploiting any game mechanics?

Im still miss, what u r telling about. agent exploits, huh...? Dude, it was trans victory t132, all my agents works at HQ (2% health) all game. If i wanna post domination victory vs 3 AI's in a 10 mins, im just give u a link to korean video lol.

Give me examples.
