FF VII: Advent Children

I dearly love the FF series, but from what I hear Advent Children is a big pile of cash in rubbish with possibly the worst plot ever conceived.

And where have you read that, my sources say the exact opposite.

A summary of a pre-release version shown to the press, with the finale missing. I can't find it right now because the archive of the site where I read it (Eyes on Final Fantasy) doesn't seem to be working right now.

It was round about the part where an army of children were marching on Midgar that I thought "this is pretty silly". Maybe it's just me. Best to reserve judgement until I actually see the film, but I'm not very hopeful.
