Hey ppl this is my first time here ^__^'

This is a completed map of the FF7 world I made while looking at...a completed map of the FF7 world...wut else would I be looking at

It also acts as a scenario and changes the names and attributes of certain civs as well as many eras, advances, improvements, and units when played.

The map may not be very accurate, but it's playable enough in my experience.

The altered civs are:

Shin-ra (Rome)
Leader: President Rufus
Special Unit: SOLDIER

Avalanche (America)
Leader: Leader Barett
SU: Highwind

Cetra (England)
Leader: Goddess Aeris
SU: Spirit Vessel

Jenova (Russia)
Leader: Crisis Jenova
SU: Invader

And last but mebbe not least,
Imperial Wutai (Egypt)
Leader: Empress Yuffie
SU: War Ninja

The starting locations for these civs are fixed, and for a scenario most true to FF7 I'd just use these as your rivals. There are starting places available for the other civs too tho.

As for difficulty, Jenova and Cetra would probably be the hardest, b/c they don't have much space for expansion and they start in an area with less food. It's possible for Jenova to conquer Cetra at the beggining, just like in the game, or vice-versa. The FF7 towns aren't on the map, although their names are default. The Civs start where their capital would be however, like Shin-ra starts on the spot where Midger would be built (hence all the cows to give it a population boom). It's your history to create.

I tried to make this seem realistic to the game in terms of how the civs would develop (Sephiroth's Power advancement allows Black Materia wonder allows METEOR (ICBM) unit to be built, etc.) There are more detailed changes as well, such as aggresion of the civs and their bonuses.
As you reach more modern times, you may notice more subtle changes, such as a certain concentration of "mako" and FF7 character leader names.

Plz try this and tell me wut u think. Who knows, you might even get some fun out of it :crazyeye:

FF7 is awesome! I remember 3 years ago when I spent countless hours mastering and getting everything there is to get.
Anyway, nice to see that FF7 Fans have made themeselves heard.
the scenario will bring back memories.
Are there any Chocobo resources?

wow, i had no life thanks to that game. I have no life thanks to civ.....now im screwed, but its cool

btw what were the name of those stupid birds you could breed, cause that would be cool in this somehow

As I just said in my earlier post, they are Chocobos. I remember spending days trying to breed a Golden Chocobo for the sole purpose of getting the Knights of the Round Summon Materia. Oh, Tifa is hot!

Thanks for takin the time to look at/play my map ppl!

As for the chocobo questions, the cattle resource should be called chocobos, and the uranium should be called Mako. Someone tell me if this isn't working.

Tell me what u all think of the scenario and if I can make any improvements...

I bet there is a chicken rescource that can be named chocobo!
I should put up a request for a chocobo rider unit. It would be like the cavalry! And the snake unit has been made already for that monster in FF7 that you have to pass with a chocobo! i could enlarge it!

sounds interesting but u should make one with the conquests editor, which may have events

If only someone would take up making some Final Fantasy units. A while ago Clam I Am suggested a FF7 mod colaboration but no one seemed interested in making units for it.:)

"I bet there is a chicken rescource that can be named chocobo!"

Umm, I just said cattle are called chocobo in this...

And many of the units in this are named after FF7 things, but changing appearance is beyond my knowledge.

As for events, I didn't really intend this to have a built in story or chain of events, the goal is to develop your own history in the FF7 world.

Someone please tell me *what you think* of the map? From someone who's played it?
