southwest scenario... tycoon, hard routing, 3 AI opponents... this is a fun scenario to play against 3 computers cause there's usually a mad dash for all the resources on the map.

i started out in yuma with a pretty lucky location. yuma handled oil/grapes and they were both close by. i like the nice spider web effect i had going at yuma station. not my usual style to overload one city like that but the resources had to be connected.

while building up yuma i always had my eye on the prize to the east, the smelter at eloy with pheonix right above it. phoenix wasnt a metropolis at the time. once i connected eloy i knew i needed to rapidly expand phoenix to accept eloy's gold. it took a few years but phoenix grew to metropolis and everything would be cake from there.

there's a lot of double track routing and even triple tracking from some of the mines... no routing conflicts everything is very smooth.... game would be easy to win from this point

i had to zip the savegame cause the railroads save format wasn't an acceptable upload... unzip it to your railroads! save game folder ( My Documents\My Games\Sid Meier's Railroads!\Saves )

A little off topic but when you get to Vegas, run some track around lake mead. I got a bonus for adding a scenic route once. I'm not sure why but it happened with a front page news splash and all.
