Forgive my simple question

Im doing my best to absorb all the info for modding. I just got to the point in civ3 where I understood it all and now..well..Please I wont bother yall too much but for now if someone could just explain how I place random resources on a very excellent ultima map I downloaded Id appreciate. I can learn python and all that Im just not sure if thats a worldbuilder thing or a script thing or what. Thanks (I just wanna figure out how to do all the civ3 stuff for now.)

There is a console command that does that. Bring up the console by hitting the ~ key (on U.S. Keyboards anyway). Then type "Map.generateBonuses" without the quotes.
