At the request of Yop73we are going to start up a FOURTH Colonies 3.2 PBEM. This is essentially John Eliss's Colonies Scenario version 3.12 with the following changes to better balance the scenario for multiplayer:
1) No Jesuits or Ambassadors (no bribing of cities or stealing techs)
2) A higher tech paradigm (longer time between discoveries)
3) More expensive Trade units, with no "freight unit" bonus for Merchants. (As humans use them better)
4) Randomizing the time when the major pirates appear, and to some extent, their location too.
The current lineup is as follows and in the order of play:

I would rather the AI control the Native Civs in this scenario, it makes for a faster game with only four active players.
No cheaters please.
I am looking for one other person to play the English who is committed to a fast turn around in playing turns. I've been watching this forum for several months now and the lack of speed in some of these games is astounding. So if you can't commit to a fast turn around please dont volunteer to play. In the other two Colony threads I started we are averaging about 5 turns per week. This is a 140 turn game so fast turn around time is essential.
And I reserve the right to Bump whenever I feel like it. No "Union rules" Bumping in this thread.
