Ya I would diatribe I think Darius is out for another witch hunt, and we had a big problem with Double logins recently. Which is why I would be careful about using d/l for download.

Figu... Keep track of the year when you post, I got a little confused seeing two files from Spain for 1663... your recent post is for 1664. At least your brother's computer is Y2K compliant. Sorry guys... I'm out for a little while, my computer took a surge of some sort... no CD player and it took some finaggling just to get the modem to be detected again by both POST and Windows... not sure when I'll be able to get around to fixing it.

Cough up the cash Bill, Yop needs you he is playing his native land in this one and has quite an emotional attachment.
Are you sure nothing else is wrong? CD Player should be plug and play in windows environment and are not that expensive.

Unfortunately, I only have a mix and match budget... 
It was pretty weird... it all started with a POST error... 2f8 conflict. Start shutting things down in CMOS... pulling cards out, reseating, trying to get windows to recognize the modem again...windows kept thinking it's Advanced Power Management, whatever... eventually it decides to see it as a modem again. Then the drive starts giving me fits... I can hear it not spinning up right. Until it's finally not picked up by windows anymore.

Thanks to Duke of Marlbrough for suggesting the No CD Patch(MGE) in the Civ II Utils section... it actually works. This mind you is sitting on top of Cedric's CivII to MPGE patch... It really seems to work. Don't count me out just yet...

I have moved this game to Apolyton. FiGu can download the Apoly web pages but not the CIVFAN web pages. I dont know why and I wouldn't have a clue on how to figure it out anyway.
I hope that is OK but that is the only way FiGu can play until probally January.

FiGu already posted at Apoly so there you go. He thinks it maybe be a computer problem becuase like some other "cheapskates" I know he has an old computer as well..........
