While the general Hall of Fame is an ongoing competition, we like to run time-definite competitions between updates that we call Gauntlets. Standard Hall of Fame rules (*) still apply, but any games meeting the settings will be counted towards the Gauntlet.
(*) Please read the >> HOF rules << BEFORE playing!

Submitted for this....am sure it will be a horrible entry...but man did I have an impressive civilization....probably 20 great cities. I just can't let great land sit vacant to try 4 city Science victories. Think it was turn 393. I totally dominated though and had double the next highest civ's score.

I did a sloppy t274. I thought I was smart when I chose Shaka as one opponent. Turned out he stole a couple of tiles from me (on Prince????) so I was slightly slowed down by taking his capital + 2 cities. But I guess it is the journey that is valuable and not the goal...

After "Shuffling" through a bunch of Tundra Island maps as usual, I finally got a Pangaeaish map and had a pretty solid game. Montezuma is nice for science for the Floating Gardens growth and for the culture boost from conquering to speed through Rationalism. Also, it is just fun to take out barbarians and other civs with the Jaguars, gaining culture as you go!

Going to be a great score for sure!

It is indeed quite satisfying to build a huge empire of Megacities.
