Game keeps crashing only when I play gathering storm

my game keeps crashing and the text shows up weird but only when I play with the gathering storm dlc. idk if this will help but here is what shows up when the game crashes.

Looks like the game files could be messed up. Have Steam verify the game files (ask Google for details how if you need them).
