Just when I was begining to despair about the huge amount of cardboard boxes piled up in the closet (I can't bear to throw anything away, there's a copy of CGA Elite & MS Flight Sim 4 in there somewhere) along come DVD cases!
Just look at this nice tidy row of games on my desk - I've turned the moniter round so you can see - isn't that much better?

What does the DVD case has to do with the manuals? I get the same manuals I got in the old cases only this time it's inside the case, next to the CD.

I too like having a hard copy of the manual. And printing my own wouldn't be the same. Hell, for the prices that new games go for, it's the least that they (software companies) can do!

You could just have much smaller manuals, with the basics in, and the rest of the more in-depth info on the CD. Aren't you just suggesting going back to Megadrive cases? That's what DVD boxes remind me of. Most console games do quite nicely with much smaller boxes than PC games although for games like FFs, when you need 4 CDs it can get a bit daft.

Don't I know it! Imperium Galactica 2 is just like that, it's annoying to say the least. (but I still love DVD cases)
