Hi, just a quick question, is there still a Go To City command? Am finding waging wars a bit tedious as units get built all over my empirem then I send them to a frontier city to group them into an attacking force. Just now I have to use the Go To Command, scroll to the city I want them to go to and then click.

Would be nice if I could jsut select the city from a list.

Check the forums for a rendezvous option. From what I remember there were complaints that you could only set one place for the rendezvous. I also don’t know if this applies to both SP and MP.

I think you can set a rally point by Ctrl+Right Click (somebody correct me, as I did not use it yet).

My understanding is that you can select all your cities (Ctrl+Double Click on the title of a city, or something) and once all cities are selected then set the rally point by Ctrl+Right Click in the desired destination.

I am pretty sure it is doable, but it is not documneted in the manual (I think), so somebody please tell us if this is correct:

1- To select all cities: ALT + Double Click in a city's title.
2- To Set Rally Point: Ctrl + Right Click in destination.

is this correct?

Hmm, I'll give it a try.

So nobodies came accross the good old "Go To City" dialog box you used to get? Would be silly if they got rid of it.

I found this post discussing rally points and waypoints. pasted below. I know I was looking for this answer also.

....

To place waypoints, hold down shift with a unit selected and right-click each spot you want it to go (and you can click orders you want it to perform when it reaches each spot).

To set rally points, hold down shift and left click each city bar you want to set a rally point for. Then, while holding down shift, right-click the spot you want as a rally point for those cities, and units will automatically go there after being built. To remove a rally point for a city, "set" the rally point as the city itself and it'll disappear.

I've encountered a bug where selecting cities conflicts with the right-click menu; you can work around this by enabling the right click menu temporarily in the game options to select multiple cities.

The closest is press F1, click on the city you want, press C.
