And an hour ago, my laptop keyboard 'i' stopped working, so I switched PCs, and managed to zip the saves on my laptop without using the letter 'i'. Means my usual History.txt has a different name...

His last post was Aug 23, 2002 11:05 PM. For a guy with an average of over 8 posts per day that is a lot of time to be absent. I have no idea where he is, but given that he is a U.S. Air force reserves pilot, my guess is that he has been called in for active duty. He may come back with tales of real war!

Really!? Heliogabalus posted at Game of Democracy II that starlifter was around (in F2 Gap Plains Filler). You say he's not.

btw, why don't some of you guys come over and join our Democracy? Just read the threads, and post an idea or suggestion. Our Queen will post the next turn thread in a few hours, and we have until Tuesday evening to discuss our next move. We have Deity, HG And Colossus, Monarchy...

Gotm19 Results were posted long ago, last update 23 Sept.

While we would like to see Gotm20 Results, it is best to be patient with our Duke. I for one wish he would spend more time helping us in Civ2 Game of Democracy II. Ditto for the rest of you as well. Did you know, our Monarchy has been invaded!

Whenever our Duke compiles this vast submission of enthusiasm for Civ2 here, whenever will be fine enough for me.

I remember when I first started this, I was really eager to learn how well I did. I still am now, still check once per day, but now I appreciate how much work our Duke puts into this site. If you fellows are craving some action, come over to Civ2 Game Of Democracy -- there's something to puzzle over and discuss every day there. Today, it's how best to bribe the Vikings...

Thanks for all your efforts with the site. I don't play every GOTM but enjoy it every time I do.

Let me know if I can be of any help with maintanance. Building websites is my job and I know my way around with php and databases. Just reply here and I'll send you an e-mail, or use the e-mailadress from my gotm 20 submission.

I probably don't have enough time myself for maintanance on a regular base, but I might be able to write some scripts for you that make the job quicker and easier for you.
