Hapiness buildings Bug

I was playing Persia. I had 4 unhapiness. I purchased colosseum in a city of 5 population. I see only -1unhappiness. I purchuase theatre in the same (or another city-dont remember) ,only -1 unhappiness. I purchase satrap court and i see no change in the unhapiness at all! I have still 2 unhappiness!
This is a bug right? I have installed most patches but not the last ones

It is not a bug, happiness buildings can not give you more happiness than the population of your city. It's been like that since December.
I highly recommend installing the latest patch, it vastly improves both the mechanics of the game and stability imo.

also:

I purchase satrap court and i see no change in the unhapiness at all!

It's propably a bug!
I don't update most of the times immediately because the save game won't load! I will update after i finish that game.

Colosseum + Circus = 5.

So it was

4 Unhappiness
Buy Colluseum
3 unhappiness
Buy Theater
2 Unhappiness
Buy Satrap
2 Unhappiness?

Well if the Colluseum was in a pop 5 city that already had a Circus (2) and a Satrap (2) then it would only provide 1 happy [4 happy to max of 5 happy]

If the Theater was in a Size 4 city with a Colluseum [3] or a Size 6 with Colluseum+Circus/Satrap [5] or a Size 8 city with Colluseum+Circus+Satrap [7] then it would only add 1 more*

*Increase all number by 1 if there you are missing a patch

Include Save game to confirm if it actually is a bug

Its not a bug. I reloaded and i build the theatre in another city of greater population and i saw my unhappiness droping
