Health glitch

I got negative health when I build my new city. To remedy the problem, I purchased several health buildings in a row. Unfortunately, these didn't decrease the health deficit at all. The positive health points are not adding up if I go to each one of my cities and count the points.

Is anyone else experiencing this? I saw another person having this issue with no remedy on Yahoo answers.

Edit: I think I figured it out, the health benefits from buildings in a city can only affect the overall health up to the total population of the city they are built in.
 
This glitch seems to go beyond the health issue. When I go to the building sub menu in the city screen, I can't actually sell the health buildings that aren't working. After I sold one building in each city, I can't sell any other buildings now.

Edit: The selling building thing may be a feature, since going to the next turn allows me to sell one more building. Unfortunately, the health issue is not fixing itself no matter how many turns forward I go.
 
"Sell 1 building per turn" is a feature, meant to stop you from cashing in instantly on a city just before you raze it.
 
City health is capped to city population. You can not settle new city and buy bunch of buildings to get health up.


But when I buy something like a pharmalab, my health will go from -4 to -8, which makes no sense at all. I just noticed the health issue last night... any health buildings that were completed actually had a negative impact on my health. Annoying.
