The Civilization III Hall of Fame has been updated. 41 games were accepted since the previous update.

Congratulations to Moonsinger for the highest Firaxis score of the update with a Tiny Sid Domination game for 24117 points.

P_Ortiz was the most active player during this update, submitting 7 games.

Only 1 player was brave enough to take on Sid this update. Moonsinger submitted a 850 BC Tiny Sid Domination game for 24117 points.

Apparently not. I remember a time when an update thread would hit two pages overnight, which was a lot of activity for a forum like this.

The one thing that has surprised me lately over the last few months is the submission traffic has held fairly constant, with the bulk coming from new players. It'll be interesting to see what happens here nearer the end of the month.

How do you not become a quarterback?

If one of your games gets pushed off the HOF tables, and none of your other HOF games satisfies that particular criteria, then you lose the status.

For instance, if I had only one 20k win in the entire HOF, but it got pushed past #10 on it's table, then I would no longer be a Machiavellian, hence no longer a full Quartermaster.

Of course, as soon as I submitted another 20k game that did place on the HOF tables, I'd regain my status.

The intention was to make the Challenge an ongoing competitive environment, rather than just a sterile list of those that have completed the full circuit.

Well, if you're not playing that much then there is just not much to say.

I did not realize anyone was that close to falling off the quartermaster list - sorry Pentium.

It is interesting that we only have 31 or 32% of the spaces full.

Hehe, I see Pentium reacted quite fast. With me playing an hour a week right now, I doubt I can become Quartermaster, even if SID is my next goal... Soon to come... But who knows, maybe someday I'll join the band of the Q-men!!!

PS... I forgot. Got Civ4 preordered...

I wish Khan Asparuh all the best of luck and may he fail horribly in trying to make short work of my scores on Std.. also.. try me on Large.. just sumbitted a 22K ++ score on Emperor Large map.. Quite happy with that one

I HATE to see BC victories... so, I have made an attempt to erradicate them from the lists where possible.. mostly large and std. I have given up Std Monarch.. its impossible sorry to say.. I urge someone to prevail where I have failed.. I will be forever yours

Finally someone else had managed to break my Large map score records before Civ IV will be released. Nor does it matter, I would consider retiring Civ III as soon as I have a change to get Civ IV.

I am sure you will beat that ... however, you need to beat me again on Emperor std.. added 1K to your score. Almost sad CIV 4 is here to condemn the future of CIV 3..
