How do I fix this?

I downloaded the mod. Had a confusion with where to put patch j, and now when I play the mod i get pink squares and red balls, or completely empty pedia entries. How do I fix this?

You didn't install the mod. You installed the patch.

Download the full mod, install it, then install the patch over it.
