How do I get my spaceship's probability of success over 0%?

I'm a pretty infrequent player and I'm not exactly deity-level, so I know this is an elementary question. But I'm trying to build my spaceship and I can't get a probability of success over 0%. Can anyone tell me what parts I should be building or something else I should be doing to get it to work? I'm using Playstation, if that helps.

The probability of success doesn't mean how likely it is for the spaceship to reach AC, but how many percent of top score you get, IIRC. So, if you're in a race, it's okay to launch it even if it isn't 100%, and still be 100% sure of success.:)

Correct, the success rate is the percentage of the colonists aboard the spaceship that will survive the trip, not the chance of it reaching it's destination. If you can launch the spaceship, it will reach it's destination, but the points you get for it landing will be modified by the success rate it had (since the points are given for the number of colonists that reach it's destination).

Thanks, funxus and Duke. I hadn't realized what the success rate meant, but fortunately I had no real competition from rival civs or any danger of running out of time, so I was able to launch in AD 1957 with 100% probability. It was only the second time I'd ever won, and the first time I'd done it by colonizing AC! Thanks again for your help.
