Please answer. I can't find where you're supposed to type "<warlords>:1:0=yess blah blah blab" or whatever. How do I do this?

They should be put in Civilization 4/Warlords/PublicMaps instead of Civilization 4/PublicMaps; there is no scenario coding that does this. If the scenario requires a mod, however, it will not work unless you convert the mod or download the Warlords version of the mod, if there is one.

Okay...how do I make the MOD Warlords compatible? If I put under civ4/warlords/mods it doesn't work; A million error messages pop up when I try to load it.

Which specific mod is this?

Desert War. It came with CivIV.

You can't just plop the mod into Warlords if there is differing code. When you see those errors, it should tell what file and line the error is on. Seeing how many xml files Desert War has, it is prob going to take some work to make it work in Warlords.

I'll have a look into this to see what I can do.

The best advice I can give, if you don't already have it, is to google and download the program WinMerge. It will compare two files and show you where they differ. If you use this program on a Desert War file and on its clean Warlords counterpart, that should make it easyer to see what needs to be changed.

If you have any specific problems in the update of the scenario, just post it, I or someone else will be glad to help. :)
