1. Map size, type opponents???????? is there a regular style you generally play?? speed?? victory conditions????? modded????? mp?????

2. Style you play in, laid back fun????? roleplaying thought process???? wonder lover?????? war mongerer??????? culture sucker???????

im just intrigued how other people play, i like earth maps :) conquest mode :) :king:

I like standard size, fractal maps and I'll usually turn off barbarians because all they do is make the early game annoying. I'll conquer a few civilizations usually and go for a space race or diplomatic victory, but if my army is strong enough I might go for domination. For speed I play normal or epic. My style of play though generally fluctuates though, since I like to try out new strategies.

Mostly:
Small/Standard map size, Random civ, Deity, Fractal/Shuffle and i'm pretty much a pure warmonger

you mean how many cities i build?
Mostly 1 or 2 and then the attack begins on the first AI's :)

oops! double post!

I would appreciate it if the mods would delete this...

I usually play on a standard-size, fractal map, and my opponents will usually be random civs. My victory conditions tend to be conquest or domination, sometimes space race if I feel like it.

My playing style is pretty laid back, and I have to say, I am a wonder-lover...I only go to war if it is my last option really. Unless it's near the end of the game, then I go full-out!

Lately, I've been trying Peter (with stone), or Bismark and trying to build the Great Wall & Pyramids and the other GE wonders on Monarch or Emperor. I use fractal maps, low sea level, temperate. Starting with a scout is really nice, I usually get 1-3 free techs. After getting about 9 cities, I usually go for space or culture win. A month ago, I was into quechua rushing, next month, who knows?

Edit: emperor barbs are like raging barbs, but I don't turn them off, because I'm building the Great Wall.

I always choose
1.standard size
2.fractal maps
3.turn off time victory
4.choose speed epic

Normally, I play a standard, fractal map in normal speed. I leave al the rules as they are. I pay with which ever civ takes my fancy at the time.

My style of play is generally a builder. I only go to war if I think it is going to be beneficial to me, or if its forced upon me. Cultural victory is usually my preffered method of victory.

I usually play huge fractal maps, epic speed, noble difficulty. Although I'm trying out archipelago this time for a twist.

I have city flipping after conquest, no barbarians, aggressive AI, and no tech trading selected as options. I normally turn off all victory conditions except conquest and domination, but I am going to turn them all on (except time) for a couple games.

I'm generally a builder until the late industrial era - modern era. I'll defend myself, or attack an appealing target before then, but I really dont go warmongering until I have riflemen, tanks, aircraft, etc.

I also try to be good to my friends, and I hold grudges against civs that do me wrong. In my last completed game, I had one continent, and my only friend on the other continent was Elizabeth. She got attacked by Saladin and Napoleon, so I sent some marines, and about 4 divisions of armor to help her. She lost over half her territory before I was able to land troops and I took back everything she lost and gave it back to her.

i play standard pangea no barbs on normal speed and more of a wonder builder, but on pangea war is inevitable

I like it because it generally creates 2 or 3 decent sized, more realistic-looking continents.

WORD :)

I like to play Pangea because they're brutal games, makes good practice when being invaded on 3 or more fronts. More fun being slaughtered. :p
