Hybrid affinity symbols

I have ideas of there belief's and all aswell (also on DA witch I'm on more http://fav.me/d92koku )
Purity/Supremacy: This was said to be a remain human with robot slave kind of affinity with rigid class systems in a sneak peak, and I'd say that is likely.
Purity/Harmony: "Universal Purists" Civs under this affinity wish to preserve BOTH humanity and the alien life, aka leave nature as nature has done, witch would tipicly be involved in making stationed off cities form the wilderness and making sure no terran plants leave and no xenoplants\animals enter.
Supremacy/Harmony: This can go two ways, either similar to the Purity/Supremacy one that was stated above. OR humanity can become machines that "tend" towards there new planet, becoming like a new speices but retaining the technology to advance themselves.
"Unity": the All three-er is where Humanity just does whatever it needs to survive, wither changing them selves or the environment, as long as they live in the end everything is fine to them.

I have a slightly different approach on how to do this, but I don't have a good editor on this, my main computer. I'd like to take half of the symbols and try and figure out how to blend them. Like on the new Hybrid unit page but instead blending them and altering them from there.
And then using the color palette of the new units to change the icon. So Harmony/Supremacy becomes Purple while Purity/Supremacy becomes Cyan or White/Cyan.

Definitely like the transparency a lot more. It helps smooth out the awkwardness of the overlap and makes some interesting shapes. I may try manually draw out some icons tomorrow.

I like half and half symbols tough. I think they generate interesting non-simetrical shapes. Specially Harmony-Supremacy becoming an "arrow" pointing upwards is neat, and the curved line in the middle of harmony blends really well with the supremacy sector división.
Supremacy-Purity and Specially Purity-Harmony may need some work, but I think quite interesting things can be obtained by modifying just a bit the half-and-half blend (and giving it a single specific color or at least not a full divide - this helps a lot, and you can see they look better when monocromous in the leader affinity screen). So I'm waiting for Defiant Mars proposal.

My only complaint is that it's hard to imagine much symbolism in the Purity/ Harmony symbol.

Though I personally prefer the opposite direction with Purity/ Harmony - willing to change both humanity and the environment to create a perfect interface between civilization and the environment.
Taking the best from both worlds with a heavy dose of genetic engineering.
Takes the willingness to adapt to the environment from Harmony and the willingness to terraform from Purity.
Disagrees with Harmony on preserving the planet, disagrees with Purity on preserving the human form.
I like this art!
