I bought the game off ebay...

...and it won't open. It's a Russian version that, during installation, had me install some kind of "Daemon manager". I get only a black window and a "safedisc4 hider" window.

I can't get the game to open, after three weeks of delivery. Could someone help? Is this game pirated or something?

You got taken methinks. Daemon Tools is for running backups, so you probably are in trouble if you bought something and it needs Daemon Tools.
And if that wasn't enough, the SD4Hider practically confirms that it is pirated.

Yeah, definately is a pirate one. If you bought it and you didn't know about the origin of the game you should complain to him. what that guy sold to you was a "Backup Image" of the original game; that means, that you can load up that image to any virtual drive and the game would probably run. The SD4hider tool is for the security of the game, as it recognizes this software and wont let you play until you turn off the "virtual drives". So, I recommend you to get rid of that, try to get your money back, and buy a new one in any of the retail stores

Yep, you've been sold an image of the original. I've seen many available for download on my search to get my legitimate UK version to recognise that the DVD really is in the Drive....
