The title says it all: I hate the domestic advisor pop-up screen.
I wonder whether there is a way to disable the domestic-advisor confirmation request for things I put in a queue. If I put them in a queue, it's because I am sure I want them built.
The reason why I hate it is that it slows down the game a lot when you have many cities (and if your computer is not super-fast it really wasts a lot of time).

Is there any way to change this setting in [civ3] and make it such the domestic advisor does not ask to confirm what I put in a building queue?

Thanks

Thank you for your message, but I don't think there is any preference in [civ3] that diasbles the domestic advisor screen.

Let's make an example: start building a barrack and put a granary in the queue.
Once the barrack is built the domestic advisor says something like "supreme lord the city of ... has built buit a barrack, what should we build now? A granary?"

Maybe I just don't see the right option in the menue (I read carfully and tried many, but my version is in English and English is still only my second language).

Sorry, if I am asking something obvious, but if there is a preference that does what I want, could you please right which one it is?

I use [civ3] fully patched (but have no [ptw] or [c3c] yet  )

Go to your Ctrl-P screen, and uncheck 'Ask for build orders after unit construction.'

But you have to be careful with this, as the govenor will decide what to build next. If you have build-ques set up in every city, this won't be a problem. However, if you don't, you'll need to micro-manage ever city every turn. That would take longer than the pop-ups, IMO. But if you're just wanting to pump Cavalry out of that city, and have 'Always build previously built unit', then it would be less micromanaging.
