Anyone else use this?

I find myself charting out cities 2-5 using the New Sign button to click on a tile and title it "City 2", "city 3 or 4", stuff like that.

It's more important when I'm planning a cultural victory, or decide to push for the lighthouse and colossus.
Helps me remember coastal cities are more important than picking up an extra spice resource but settling inland.

It's just nice having in-game post-it notes. :goodjob:

I enjoy drawing lines myself. Sometimes if I care to do so I'll draw city outlines. Helps with planing a bit :) I wish You could use the line without having to zoom out so much thou. Plus I dont know if in a team game your allies can see the lines, if they could that would be great.

there is a minor interface bug with it though.
If you have it on, then zoom in and begin moving units, it won't let you access any of their main menu commands and right clicking isn't reliable either.
You have to zoom back out and turn it off.

Is it my imagination, or does the strategy layer not get saved when you save a game?

I use it to make notes to myself - in my last game, in which I was alone on an island but founded 4 religions, I used it to keep a running tally of the number of missionaries I needed and where they were needed. Another great use would be to flag cities with airports. The strategy layer is certainly one of my favorite features, it is immensely helpful for players who can be a bit absent minded from time to time.
