I want to mod a Civ, can someone help me?

Hey I wana create a new Civ just for fun, but looking through the moding tools I am having a hard time finding out how to do it.

I also searched google found nothing, and didnt see a sticky for it here. Can anyone help me? I also have a custom model for the unique unit, can I use it?

If not, that should probably be all you need. He explains how to add a civilization from start to finish.

Kaels modding help is a bit outdated and wont teach the changes that happened after the beta for example he doesnt say anything about changing the VIS to true for .DDS

Unfortunately custom buildings are impossible and custom units are rather difficult to import (even with lemmy101's nexus workaround).

Not only that but there is no explanation of Tech editing.

Uh...No they aren't. You can't add any world models like is done with Wonders, and you can't add improvements like the trading posts, but custom buildings are perfectly possible and has been done many times.
