Here´s an idea. Since all buildings can never be shown on the map, there´s simply not enough room, then why not have a City viewing screen you can access from the city screen. You could see all the buildings in a screen with streets and houses etc. This would be a screen dedicated to viewing buildings and wonders, could be scrollable, zoomable etc.

You could even add some city-building game elements to that screen, you could place all the buildings yourself and place streets, houses etc. You could design every city in your empire as a side-game.

Cheers! :goodjob:

Obvioulsy you did not play Civ III or Sim City =P

A more detailed city view would be a great addition. I think that it would make a great side game to plan cities. It could also be related to the map itself. You cannot make your city cover over one hex of land area, making you actually think what buildings you're getting and whether they are worth the space taken up.

They could implement this without too much micromanagement, just pick a spot for your building within your city and it starts building there.

That's a great idea! I miss this feature since since civ3..

However, you will have to choose carefully where you put your building. Maybe this will be available with a certain tech... Because with this system it will really be important where you put your buildings. Maybe the Tech could be called "City Planning?"
