DonQuiche is no longer active in modding. The only real solution is to determine which other mod is causing the issue. In my experience when IGE fails or acts oddly this is an indication of an incorrectly structured or coded mod, or an attempt to run IGE in tandem with a mod such as a Total Conversion Mod that makes fundamental changes to the game which are simply not compatible with IGE.

I have never had IGE fail when the root cause was not a conflict or incomplete coding in the game's database created by some other mod.

EUI (Enhanced User Interface) is not compatible out of the box as I recall with IGE, for example. But as I recall there are instructions on bc_1's EUI thread-page on what is needed to be done to cure the incompatibility issue.
