Nice! From the other thread, I take it this was the unit that benefited from the unlimited barb xp mod and popped an upgrade ruin after getting the 3 Survivalism promotions.

The unit should be pretty durable on defense, since the Survivalism promotions get you +50% combat strength on defense, +10 healing outside friendly territory (essentially giving you friendly territory healing everywhere) and the equivalent of March (so be sure not to take March as a future promotion). But with range and logistics the unit (hopefully) won't be getting in many melee fights or take much city bombardment.

The unit would be a monster on offense if it had the 3 scouting promotions, which would give the unit +2 visibility range and +1 movement, before giving effect to the Persian Golden Age benefit. In a Golden Age, with range and logistics? Ouch.
 
Yeah, not persian - I'm siamese on this one. I did at least get Scouting I on this, so it has the extra vision - really wish I had gotten Scouting II for the extra move point, but really, when terrain doesn't matter, it's still damn mobile.

As for avoiding March, that is a fine point. This is another case where they really should ahve just make the progression Survivalism I -> Survivalism II 0> March to avoid the confusion. Same thing with Blitz, Logistics and the Chu-Ko-Nu's special ability being the exact same thing. Needless complication that could have been avoided.
