Afflicted with reason
It is mostly 70's and 80's little known films that might be available on tape and worth a look. Sleepers if you will.
"$$$" or "Dollars" - Goldie Hawn, Warren Beatty - Bank heist and chase.
"The Silent Partner" - Elliot Gould, Christopher Plummer as the villian. - Another Bank robbery and aftermath.
"Sharky" - Burt Reynolds best straight cop movie. Great killer.
"House of Games" - Joe Montegne, Lindsey Crouse - A shrink and a con man.
"Things Change" - Joe M again, Don Ameche - date flick. The softer side of the mafia.
"Being There" - Peter Sellers, Shirley McLaine - Best SF movie ever made, but it plays like regular drama til the very end.
"Shattered" - Tom Beringer- Amnesia after a near fatal accident
"Let Sleeping Dogs Lie" - Dylan McDermont, Sharon Stone - Spooky house where a serial killer killed a family.
"Beer" - Loretta Swit as an ad exec. Its about commercials about beer.
"The Three Musketeers" - Get the Michael York, Raquel Welch version. Great swordwork.
"The Four Musketeers" - Part II of above. Separate rental though.
"My Dinner with Andre" - Title is self explanatory. A movie about an interesting conversation.
Any suggestions in this vein but newer?
