First of all, I use Firefox now and have DSL. Why then am I prevented from downloading more than 2 things at a time? Shouldn't I be able to download lots since they're all only going like 10/kbs? Please help and thanks! :goodjob:

Limiting the number of connections / downloads is actually part of the html standard, so I think all browsers are supposed to default to this. Apparently you can change it in firefox by going about / config.

I don't have firefox though, so I can't guarantee that.

i can dload up to 5.. check your settings..and @ ainwood. no mozilla? PLEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAAASSSEEE tel me u arent using IE?

I use FF and i can download more than 2 at a time. The only change i made was in the config. Details can be found here.
If that doesnt work, just find a free download manager that works with firefox (most do now) and use that instead. I wish FF would put more features into it, download managers are much better for big files (pause, resume, detailed info about D/L..)
