is it possible to downgrade from 1.21 to 1.17?

Iam in the middle of a game where iam being crushed and i want to be able to use powerbar but of course iam version 1.21, so what i would like to know is can i uninstall that patch and install 1.17 without losing this save file and then use powerbar or the other save game editors..........or mabye you know of an editor that works with 1.21
