Some of the game concepts look interesting, but the incredibly cartoony graphics are a major turnoff for me. I really loved the Civ 4 mod Blue Marble, and I was wondering if there was a similar mod available for Civ 6?

This would be awesome. I hope it's possible and somebody takes a shot at it. I like Civ 6 but the graphics ruin any chance of it being truly immersive. How can you build an empire that will stand the test of time when you live in cartoon land and your warriors look like Micky Mouse?
A Blue Marble like mod would at least make the terrain look better. Then that might encourage other artist to make unit graphics that match it.

Yeah, the Civ 6 graphics are dreadfully awful. The rationale they gave was stupid as well: "The strategic complexity means you need simpler graphics to understand everything."

...And yet for me Civ VI is the only game ever where I am like "graphics are a reason to play this game". It's a subjective matter, I suppose...
Hehe, this could be taken in at least two ways...
I'd also love to see a few options as far as terrain appearance goes. Particularly one which affects the brown murk...
