Is there a mod for original Civilization

I'm not even sure which Google search terms to use to find such a thing, but is there a mod available for Civilization IV that effectively transforms it into the classic Civilization I?

Like a graphics mod? I know that a Civ1 terrain mod exists. Or do you mean a gameplay mod?

Mods (tend to) add features, and I've not seen a mod that removes features. I think it would be a very ambitious project, too.
