Is this an easter egg of simply an incredible coincidence ?

Hey all,

Call me woke if you will, but the nicest and strangest thing just happened to me on this day, Women's international day !

Started the game as Ada with Greece. In antiquity, the four other civs I've met so far (standard map) are.... drum roll....

Hatshepsut with Egypt, Catherine with Rome, Himiko Wa with Khmer and Harriet Tubman with Aksum

So it looks like I'm playing a women's only game, at least until exploration ! What are the odds ? :D

Old school is best. Civ V doesn't have the feature where the game names geographical features, but I always did it myself.

Cleared the screen of extraneous information. Turned off the grid. Zoomed out to fill screen with map maximally.

Took a screenshot. Went to Paint. Added my own chosen names for mountains, mountain ranges, rivers, forests, etc.

By the way, .1% if you chose Ada, rather than having her randomly assigned. You put your thumb on the scales.

(Your "woke" thumb, I'm tempted to say (just because "woke thumb" sounds funny.): You know, tedherbert and his "woke" thumb.)

Sorry for my carelessness. 🐻

In my game before last I almost had an all Asian leader continent, but Charlemagne spoiled it. But I was playing as Himiko Queen of Wa, and the other leaders on my continent were Trung Trac, Confucius, and...Charlemagne. If only he'd been replaced by Jose Rizal. :D
