Issues with Faith and Coal

I love this mod, but I am having some problems with Faith accumulating endlessly without ever popping a pantheon or religion even though I got a lot of faith and some faith enhancing Wonders.

The faith problem doesn't really break the game though, it's relatively minor. Unfortunately, now that coal is on the map, it isn't showing up in my list of strategic resources. I had two sources of coal, both improved with a mine, but I'm still showing no coal resources.

Anyone else have a similar problem or know any fixes? The only other mod I am running is the modded earth map from Play the World Extended (G&K edition) by Hormigas, but I am only using the map and not the mod scenario.

In the mod coal is revealed on the map after researching "Metal Casting" but it is not available as a tradeable resource until researching "Steam Power".

The same thing applies for "Iron", "Oil" and "Aluminium". They all appear on the map before they can actually be used.

OK, thanks, that actually makes a lot of sense in terms of planning out settling new cities. I was just super confused when I finished the mine on my first source of coal and couldn't figure out why it wasn't showing up anywhere.
